Off to the Judging Panel

Congratulations to everyone who submitted a project! Here's a quick breakdown of how judging works: 

Stage One

Submissions are locked in at the deadline and Stage One commences. A review team from Devpost and Dropbox will review your submission materials to ensure they are complete, eligible, and meet a baseline level of viability to move to Stage Two. At a minimum, this means the submission includes all of the below items:

  • URL to a prototype or application that uses the Dropbox Sign API and any publicly available AI technology and that works well enough for the demo
  • Complete text description that explains the features and functionality of your Project and/or any extra features and future plans if you submitted a prototype
  • <3-minute demonstration video including footage of the working app or prototype

 

Stage Two

The submissions that pass Stage One will then be sent to a Judging Panel. Those judges will review submission materials and score your project according to each of the below judging criteria from 1 to 5 (5 being the best). 

  • Design - Is the user experience and design of the app easy to interact with? Simplicity is key! Remember we are working against pen & paper.
  • Quality of Idea & Potential Impact - How creative and unique is the Project? How much value is created for businesses? Users? Does the project innovate past signing? If yes, what's the possible impact of the processes being disrupted?
  • Implementation - What is the extent to which the Dropbox Sign API and AI tool were integrated? How realistically could the technical implementation be integrated?
  • Presentation - How well is the Project pitched? Does the demo contain a live walkthrough of the user experience and how the Dropbox Sign API and AI tools are used? Does the demo communicate value?

Please note that the judges are not required to download or test your project and will depend heavily on the presentation of your project in action within your video.

 

While the review team and judges are busy reviewing submissions, you can fill out the Feedback Survey and enter for a chance to win one of ten Most Valuable Feedback prizes. You have until October 15th to complete the survey. One survey per person.
